A new chapter.

After our first try at making a game, we've realized a lot of things. Good things and bad things.
We put a lot of love into The Wind's Disciple, but there are things that both of us wanted to do different. We didn't want to redo parts of the game, so we've always tried to "close" up things that we left open in the past too fast.
Let's take a look at what we failed:
- Too little customization. We wanted to introduce an outfit system for Janna, but it was too simple.
- Too many characters. Although introducing characters in a game like this is always funny, the mistake was to not give them enough backstory. We wanted to give more scenes to Ron and Roxanne, and it is something we MAY add in the future, but in the end, the introduction of characters like Warwick, Katarina or Graves, darkened some of the others.
- No place for "more creativity". The universe of The Wind's Disciple is pretty open, but we couldn't transform our creation to something else. This will surely change in our next project.
- Too much stress to make it likable for people. We've read criticism, and we love it when it is well made. Not only for our game, but for other projects out there, and it affected us in some way. We wanted our game to actually finish, to give you the maximum content possible every update in form of scenes. But we forgot that not everything is about going forward in a game, but polishing the past. We will surely improve in this topic, and give you better content, instead of more content. Doing more polls, more information to people, etc. will help us achieve this. To each their pace.
This is just a summary of our thoughts. We're sure there's more to say.
Things we liked:
- Artwork. ChicaPixel has an amazing style that everyone liked and all comments about it made her feel great. Her art style will be here for us for the next project!
- Evolution of Janna. We really liked how the evolution of Janna turned out. As a shy girl coming out of an orphanage to a slutty girl. There's always room for improvement, but we feel it was good.
- Repeatable content. Something we wanted to do with this game was not stressing the player with saves, and giving them a way to see all content they've unlocked at the moment. You can do whatever you want; Warwick's visits will always be available again for you to see.
- Character personalities. We feel like every character had its attitude and personality, making them interesting in a certain way.
- First game ever. This is something we've never done. ChicaPixel has learned a lot about drawing for a game. Mewpix has learned a lot about programming a game. We're happy that this was our first try, we had times where we didn't feel good about it, but we loved working on it.
- Consistency. There were updates where we couldn't deliver all we wanted because of work or personal reasons, but most of them were pretty good at having content.
- Good reviews. There are bad reviews, these are necessary, but we've read a lot of good ones and we're really happy every time this happens.
We will try to implement those things from now on. Now, with all being said, let's talk about interesting things.
Our next game will be named Welcome To Erosland (Not a final name - still Brainstorming).
You're a young guy in his late 20's, living in a futuristic world, working for something he doesn't like, drowning in his everyday routine… But one day, you receive an email from an unknown source. "You've inherit a villa and lots of money from your unknown grandfather." It isn't a fake.
You travel to the destination and find the villa… and a droid that welcomes you. You're the owner of this place.
This young guy will discover a mysterious high tech machine that will change his life even more.
Welcome To Erosland (provisional) will let you create a theme park… Well. A sex theme park.
But you'd say… you will need workers for that. The mysterious machine it's an inter-dimensional device that let you connect to beings in any dimension, so our protagonist will take advantage of that and "recruit" girl workers (maybe guys in the future) from this machine from ANY dimension. Yes, you will see your favorite characters from videogames, animes, TV-series… in this game. (You will help us decide through polls which girl should appear in the game, besides lots of other things) The first girl to join in is pretty well known.
       - These girls will be fully customizable. Our intention is to create lots of outfits and accessories for them.
        - They will work for you in the buildings and attractions that you will build in the villa.
        - They will also earn money with stream shows… and later on, cam shows. They will be on social networks. (Very up-do-date am I right?)
        - You will be able to send them to their origin world and watch them through the camera of your personal droid.
        - Each girl will have her own main quest where you'll be able to know more about her.
        - You will build different buildings, starting with a tavern and maybe ending with a roller coaster! (All sexual related, of course!)
        - Erozon will be the online shop that will let you buy things for your girls or for you.
        - You will need to train these girls on how to please the clients but also… please you. Little by little, the girls will gladly want to continue working for you.
There's a story that will lead our protagonist to the meaning of why his grandfather have him the villa, and he will also discover how does the inter-dimensional machine really work.
If you've played "trainer" games, this will be one of them, but we will take it further beyond.
We will be giving hints and showing more about the game each week, while we work on it. (More for higher patrons)
We hope you join us in this new adventure!

News for the future.

We want to make an update on some of the news regarding Patreon and our future as game developers.
